The diversity of the Champaign/Savoy community provides both opportunity and obstacles in completing this long range plan. In order to best develop a plan that works for the District, the key components of the committees will need to be individuals with overall vision and represent, as thoroughly as possible, the overall makeup of our community.

In the first series of Vision Committee meetings members came together to dialogue about their vision for Unit 4 Schools, the dilemmas and challenges that they feel need to be considered, and key questions for the Working Groups to answer.  Downloadable from this page, these three documents are works in process.  They were generated and are provided by the Vision Committee as a guide for the Working Groups.  Using these documents as a guide, the Working Groups will channel feedback generated at the Community Forums into a plan.  These documents do not reflect the consensus of the Vision Committee.  Rather they are mean to reflect the wide-ranging visionary needs of the Unit 4 Schools, and the diversity of dilemmas and challenges that would be useful to keep in mind.
