My Career Interest Survey

Upon completing my career interest survey, I have found that I would be most successful in this profession:

The Science/Technical cluster involves working with abstract ideas, observing, understanding and discovering things. It tends to require more education than the other career groups. This includes engineering, chemistry, all levels of medicine (from doctor to lab technician) and mathematical sciences, especially computer science.

Some professions I am interested in are becoming a medical assistant, a pharmacy aid, a broadcast technician, or even an astronomer.

I could go to college and get a degree in biochemistry, astronomy, food science, or even nursing.

Careers in the Business Operations cluster are data-oriented. They tend to have a high degree of routine and have known standards of performance. People in these jobs work closely with managers. They know how to use computer programs and know accounting and bookkeeping procedures, tax rules, government regulations, airline schedules and the like. Like people in outdoor and mechanical jobs, they do not mind working alone.

Some professions I am interested in are becoming a court reporter, accountant, or bank teller.

I could go to college and major in finance, legal studies, or criminal justice.
