To put anything into a Publisher document,
you will need to tell Publisher what kind of information will go into
that location. You will do this by creating frames for text, WordArt and
pictures.
1. Create
text frames for the Recipe, Directions, Instructions for Storing,
Warning, Ingredients, Nutritional Information, and Proof of Purchase
sections of your label. First, click on the text frame tool on the left
side of your screen. Your cursor has changed. It looks like two thin,
crossed lines.
2. Click
in your document where you want your text frame to begin. Now drag your
mouse to the location where you want your text frame to stop.
3. Your
text frame is selected when the dark squares, known as handles, surround
it. You can move or re-size your text frame when it has handles around
it. When your cursor has two arrows, you can move your text frame. When
your cursor has only one arrow, you can re-size your text frame.
4. Create
a clip gallery frame for your label. Click on the clip art frame
tool on the left side of your screen. Your cursor will change to look
like two thin, crossed lines.
5. Click
and drag to make a clip art frame. The Clip Art Gallery will open. Use
the categories to look for a picture, or you can type a word in the
search field. Once you find the picture you want, right-click on it and
choose the first option (insert).
6. If
you close or minimize the Clip Art Gallery, you will see that the clip
art has been placed in your document. To move or re-size the picture,
click and drag the handles around the picture.

a title for your label using WordArt. Insert a WordArt frame
using the WordArt frame tool. Remember that your cursor will change,
letting you know that your computer is making a frame.
8. Enter
your title. Then choose how you would like your WordArt to look by using
the menu options at the top of the screen.

Update Display, then click in a text frame outside of the WordArt frame
to return to your Publisher document.
