Cathy Stukel (1978):

Stukel earned seven varsity letters. She stood out in volleyball, basketball and softball. During her time at CHS, Cathy won 3 letters in volleyball, 2 in basketball and 2 in softball. She was a member of Central's volleyball team that placed 4th at state in 1977 where she was named to the all-tournament team. Stukel continued her athletic and academic endeavors at the University of Southern California with a degree in civil engineering. She was a 4-time all-conference selection, a 4-time All-American and the 1981 NCAA Finals MVP. She was a member of the USC volleyball team which won the NCAA volleyball title during her senior year.
