Jill Foley Kaltenthaler (1978):

Awarded 9 varsity letters. Kaltenthaler stood out in volleyball, earning three varsity letters. She helped Central’s volleyball team to a fourth place finish at the 1978 state tournament. Kaltenthaler was the 1978 Seeley Johnston Most Valuable Female Athlete of the year. She was a 4-year starter and letter winner in volleyball at Iowa State University. She earned a spot on the All-Region 6 team and was co-captain her senior year. Kaltenthaler was earned MVP honors on Iowa State’s volleyball team.
