1978:  4th in State in Pole Vault

Robert Zebe (1978)

2 time High School All-American in track.  Outstanding tailback and running back on Central football team.  1978 Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year.  Twice finished in the top four at the state track and field meet in the pole vault, he still owns the school record (14 feet, 8.5 inches) and was named a two-time All-American.  Won numerous pole vault titles, including two in the Big 12 Conference.  Also ran a leg on the seventh-place mile relay in 1977.  Won four events at the Twin City meet.  Two-year letter winner in football, he was a starting defensive back and punt returner for a 5-4 team in 1977.
