Yvonne Oldham (1982)

Leading scorer and rebounder on Central basketball team.  Dominant sprinter on Central track team.  4-year letter winner in track at University of Illinois.  Track standout won multiple Big 12 titles, setting a record in the 400 meters (57.1 seconds).  Placed sixth in the 400 at the 1982 state meet and helped 800 relay team take third in the ’79 meet.  In basketball, she was second on the team in scoring and rebounding as a junior, then led the team in scoring (12.7 points) and rebounding (7.2) as a senior.  Continued her track career at Illinois, where she helped UI establish five school relay records (one Big Ten mark) and a 500-meter dash school record.
