Four of the girls, Freshmen Jakeenya Evans and Anna Rodgers, sophomore Cornelia Osborne, and junior Rory Mills, all qualified for the4 Sectionals race. The team will be losing only one senior, Katie Wilkie, so there is much promise for next year.

Some in particular include: a team victory against Mattoon and Eisenhower at the Eisenhower triangular, a fourth place finish at Metamora Freshman/Sophomore race, and having freshman Carrie Peters individually qualify for the sectional meet. If this young team sticks together, they will be a team to watch out for in the coming seasons.
