Did you know that kids perform better academically when their tummies have a little something in them -- even if that something IS  a frosted strawberry pop-tart?? For that reason, PTSA sells snacks during final exams. We ask families to donate snacks, which we sell CHEAP so everyone can afford a little something! ALL PROCEEDS go to fund our scholarships in the spring, so your donations/efforts go right back to our students! Drop donations off in Mr. Sparks' office ASAP! The kids love: Pop-Tarts (esp frosted strawberry!), fruit snacks, small packs of mini-donuts, Rice Krispie treats, salty snacks like Cheez-it crackers and chips ... they're not too crazy about anything with the word "fiber" or "natural" on the package!!  Thank you so much!

And from  the "other side of the U of I": I am including this exerpt from an Urbana district press release because it was only in the last couple of years that UHS underwent voluntary restructuring. Let's keep looking forward to Central's future!
