Minority and Female Construction Hiring

 

The Champaign Unit #4 Board of Education is committed to a diverse workforce. This, of course, extends to the District’s construction projects. In order to attract as many female and minority contractors as possible, the District hired consultant Debra Simmons Wilson. To date, 6.8% of all project costs are going to female and minority contractors. The following documents were utilized throughout the hiring phase of the construction projects.
