Every minute of every day, someone needs
blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person
like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for
your donation. When you make a blood donation, you join a very
select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America
donate blood. Almost all serious health issues use blood donated by
people like you to save lives. Blood that is donated last a little
more than 40 days. Then it must be disposed. That means we need to
constantly replenish the blood so it is there when someone needs it.
Your blood could save a baby, a child, a mother, a father, a
grandfather, a grandmother. They cannot make blood, it is a gift we
all have inside of us to give to those who are injured, sick, or in
need. Not everyone can save a life, but you have that opportunity. Please come out and give the gift of life.
This years blood drives will take place on October 8th and March
31st.

Good luck to all of the Scholastic Bowl

Franklin's Math
Counts team placed third this weekend in the MC regional! First
place was Countryside and second place was Uni. It was the first
time in a long time that Uni didn't get first place. Franklin did
have one student that
scored high enough to go to state as an individual, but our team
doesn't get to go this year.
