·         Daily Schedule Updates

 

Friday, September 10^th is a SIP day.  School will dismiss at 12:00.

Students will attend 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8^th hours on Friday.

 

·         College, Careers and Counseling

 

A college representative from Parkland College will be at Centennial on

Thursday, September 9^th  during 5^h hour.  To sign up for this college visit

 please come to the Student Services Office before Thursday.

 

All Juniors and Seniors who are scheduled to graduate early please be sure to

see your counselor.

 

A college representative from St. Louis University will be at Centennial on

Tuesday, September 14^th  during 3^th hour.  To sign up for this college visit

 please come to the Student Services Office before Tuesday!

 

A college representative from Bradley University will be at Centennial

on Tuesday, September 14^th  during 7^th hour.  To sign up for this college

visit please come to the Student Services Office before Tuesday!

 

PSAT info for Juniors and Sophomores:  The PSAT will be administered at

Centennial on Wednesday morning, October 13 . The PSAT is used for juniors

to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Juniors and sophomores

can bring $15 to register for this test Monday, September 13, through

Friday, September 17, before school and after school in the Student Services office.

 

 

·         Clubs and Activities

 

The first Centennial Art Club meeting will be held on Thursday, September 9^th!

Please join Ms. Percoco in room 207e at 3:30 for more information.

 

All Student Council applications must be turned in by this Friday,

September 10^th to the Main Office.

 

What’s that in the air?  A bird? A plane? No!  It’s the egg-o-naut!  Science

Olympiad is coming soon.  Please attend the Science Olympiad informational

meeting on September 9^th at 3:30 in room 122.

 

The first NHS meeting will be held Monday, September 13th at 7:00pm in the Centennial

cafeteria.  If you cannot make the meeting there will be make up meeting in room 223 at

7:30am the following Thursday, September 16th.  You must attend one of the meetings.

This is mandatory.

 

There will be a Key Club meeting on Monday, September 13 at 3:20 in room 205

All members are asked to attend.  We will be discussing our projects for this

month. Everyone is welcome.

 

·         Athletics

 

 

To all interested baseball players and parents.  There will be a Centennial Baseball

Booster Club meeting on Tuesday, September 14 beginning at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. 

Everyone is encouraged to attend.
