The Centennial Boys Swimming and Diving team achieved a 3.41 total cumulative team grade point average during the 2008-09 season, qualifying them for the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award.

The Centennial Cheerleading team achieved a 3.24 total cumulative team grade point average during the 2008-09 season, qualifying them for the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award.
