At the Unit 4 Board of Education meeting on May 22, the following students were recognized.

The Early College and Career Academy at Parkland College is is a program for high school juniors and seniors to earn credits that count toward a high school diploma and college, all while gaining skills. There are six different Parkland College degree programs:

  • Manufacturing
  • Automotive Technology
  • Computer Networking
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Criminal Justice

Unit 4 partners with Parkland College to support the Early College and Career Academy program and connect students to careers they are interested in pursuing.
