High School Deens Named

Sylvester Davis has been named dean at Central High School and Jesse McFarling has been named dean at Centennial for the 2006-07 school year.  Both candidates are current employees of the District.

Mr. Davis is currently a fifth grade teacher at Garden Hills Elementary School.  He holds a B.S. Degree in Middle Level Education and a Masters in Educational Administration from Illinois State University.  Mr. Davis has also served as an elementary teacher for Carrie Busey.  He is a member of the Illinois Principal Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

Mr. McFarling is currently a special education teacher at Centennial High School.  He holds a B.S. Degree in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University and will complete his Masters in Educational Organization and Leadership in May, 2006. Mr. McFarling has held the position of Cross Categorical Teacher at Centennial since 2001 and began serving as Co-Chair for the Special Education Department this past school year.
