Schools of Choice Evening Open House - Tuesday, February 24

​​Champaign Unit 4 School District will hold an Evening Open House at each of its 12 elementary school campuses tomorrow, February 24, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. The Evening Open Houses are open to all incoming kindergarten families in order to inform their choices during the kindergarten registration period. 

Families are encouraged to attend to gather information about the District's elementary school campuses, ask questions, and meet school administrators and teachers. ​

Schools of Choice Info Session at Barkstall - Thursday, February 5, 2015

Champaign Unit 4 School District will hold a Schools of Choice Info Session for incoming kindergarten families tomorrow, February 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Barkstall Elementary School (2201 Hallbeck Drive, Champaign.) 

Families are encouraged to attend to gather information about the student assignment process, ask questions, and meet school administrators and teachers. ​

Schools of Choice Info Session - Tuesday, January 27, 2015

Families of incoming kindergarten students are encouraged to attend the first of two evening Info Sessions on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Stratton Elementary School. The Info Session will provide families with an overview of the Schools of Choice process, showcase each of the District's 12 elementary schools, and provide the opportunity to ask questions of Choice staff members. Administrators and kindergarten teachers from each elementary school will also be present to speak with families. 

Update on Kindergarten Assignment Process

Parents of incoming kindergarten students who registered during the month of March should receive their kindergarten assignment in the next few days, as letters were mailed the evening of April 26. This year, 85.0% of students who registered received their first choice assignment.*

Recognitions and Upcoming Events - April 9, 2013

Congratulations to the Jefferson Middle School Archery team on their success at the state archery competition! The 6th grade team took 1st place in the State in the Elementary Division, while 7th and 8th grade took 2nd in the State in the Middle School Division. The team will advance to the national competition in Kentucky.

Carrie Busey teacher Elizabeth Slifer was selected as part of the PBS Learning Media Teacher Core, a select group of 28 teachers chosen for their dedication to the advancement of digital learning in education. Congratulations!
