Mentors play a key role in our schools, making a positive difference for students.
Volunteers are welcomed at all Unit 4 schools. Each year over 2,000 volunteers donate over 30,000 hours of time to our schools.
Champaign Unit #4 is fortunate to have a rich history of community involvement that spans several generations. We are excited to be able to “Share the Schools” with our community retirees. We appreciate the many contributions of our retirees, and we welcome their input and participation in our schools.
One of our objectives at Champaign Centennial, Champaign Central and Novak Academy is to introduce all of our 2,800+ high school students to the world of careers and to help them understand the relevance of academic study through our award-winning Education to Careers and Professions Program (ECP). Please visit our page and download the "Handshake of Cooperation" form to get involved with ECP.
