The 2012-2013 season of Central Drama is already underway, and it promises to be a great year, starting with Ragtime this fall. Parents and guardians are a vital part of our program, and Drama Booster meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn (among other things): *What's going on at Central Drama? *What are the kids doing? *How can we help? It's also an excellent opportunity to meet other (fun and fabulous) parents and guardians of these talented kids. See you on the 10th! Clubs and Activities The sophomore class is doing its first fundraiser of the year. Class representatives will be selling boneless buffalo wild wings for $10 a bucket today, August 31st, Tuesday, September 4th, and Wednesday the 5th. Each bucket will come with a choice of sauce and chips. Orders will be taken before and after school in Seely Hall. Sophomores will also be able to order during their lunch period in the cafeteria. The wings will be delivered to the cafeteria on Friday, September 7th during your lunch period. Juniors and Seniors must pick up their wings in the cafeteria. Checks can be made payable to Central High School. We are the party- Central Party! Central’s talent show will be Friday, September 7th at 7pm. Get your tickets from Ms. Cook in Seely hall today! Tickets are going fast! They will be on sale for $5 in Seely Hall and in the cafeteria during your lunch period. Get yours today! Elections for class officers will be held today after school in Seely hall. Any Science Olympiad team members who are interested in helping with Quad day should see Mrs. Fitzgerald in Room 323 Friday or Tuesday. Athletics Central Families!! Central gear is still available to order through this Sunday, September 2nd! If you would you like to order Central gear, please see the attached flyer. There are 10 options available and all purchases are completed online. All orders will be delivered and ready for you to pick up in the athletic office at Central on September 14th. Please follow the steps below to place your order. 1. Log on to www.bsnsports.com 2. Click on the “My Team Shop” tab on the left side 3. Enter the unique access code (maroon2GW) located on the bottom right corner of the flier. 4. Begin placing their order. College and Career College Application Workshop: Attention Juniors and Seniors you are invited to the first-ever Application Workshop at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Wednesday, September 5th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Illini Union Ballroom B. Light refreshments will be provided and students are encouraged to register at http://go.illinois.edu/rsvpApp or by calling 217.333.0302.
