July 6, 2022 for Regular Calendar students. 

 

 

2022-2023 Kids Plus Registration

Hello Unit 4 Families,

We are excited to announce Kids Plus registration will only be offered online using the MySchoolBucks Activities program.

Many of you may be familiar with MySchoolBucks (MSB) and the MSB Activities. We believe families should have an effortless, user-friendly, and convenient on-the-go program to register your student, pay tuition, daily check in/out feature, check account balances, and receive program alerts all from the convenience of your phone, tablet or computer. More importantly, you will have 24/7 access and online support.

Balance Calendar Online Registration for Kids Plus will open Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Regular Calendar Online Registration for Kids Plus will open Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Please follow the steps below to create your MSB account. If you already have a MSB account, skip to Step 2. 

1. Go to myschoolbucks.com to create an account and add your student(s) to your account using their Student ID #. If you need the student ID #, please contact your student(s) school.

2. Visit msbactivities.com to log in with your MySchoolBucks username and password.

3. Select “Enrollments” to start your registration, and then “Start New Registration”.

4. Select your student(s) school and the plan you would like to enroll them in.

5. Complete all required fields.

6. Once you have successfully submitted your application, the home screen will display “Pending”. It will continue to say “Pending” until you are either placed on the waitlist or your application is approved.

7. Receive email alerts when program fees are due and quickly pay through MySchoolBucks. Monthly tuition invoices will be sent to your email address. Be sure you list a current email address.

Kids Plus is ONLY for elementary age students in K-5th grade. If you register your 6-8th grade student, your application will be rejected.

MSB Activities is a part of the MySchoolBucks family. If you need assistance with registration or payment information, contact customer service by logging into your MySchoolBucks account to start a chat conversation or call (855) 832-5226. Due to capacity limitations, registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. When you complete your online registration through MSB Activities it is sent to the program office with a timestamp of submission. The program office will approve and process registrations in the order of their submission until capacity is reached for each Kids Plus site. We will place families on a waiting list until an opening becomes available. Families can check for registration status updates through their MSB activities account.

Families that are accepted will receive an invoice for the first month’s tuition payment via email. Each month families will receive their monthly tuition via MySchoolBucks. Monthly payments will be due on the 1st of the month, with a $10 late fee assessed on the 5th. Student(s) will be dropped from the program if the monthly tuition is not received by the 5th of the month. If your student is dropped from the program, and that school has a waitlist, your student will be placed at the end of the waitlist. In order to be re enrolled your account must be current and will have to wait for a spot to open.

If your family has a past due balance with the school district, that past due balance will have to be paid before your student(s) can be enrolled in Kids Plus. To check your past due balances please log into your MySchoolBucks account. If you have any questions about your balance please contact the Kids Plus Accounting Clerk.

Payment Options:

  • Online payments accepted through your MSB account (credit/debit card, or electronic check). You have the option to set-up an ACH.  “Program Fees” are the fees that MSB charges for paying through their website, these are NOT fees charged by Kids Plus/Unit 4.  
  • In-person payment at our program office. We accept checks, money order, or exact cash only.
  • Drop off your check or money order in the drop-box located at the front door of the Center for Family and Community Engagement at Mellon, 703 S. New St.

2022 Fall Intersession - HELD AT KENWOOD

Hello, 

 

We are happy to announce we will be providing an Intersession program this fall for Balanced Calendar Schools.  We unfortunately will not be able to offer a “Days Out” program this fall during parent/teacher conference days. 

 

Registration for Kenwood and Barkstall families will open Wednesday August 31, 2022

 

We will have limited capacity during these special programs and will have to honor first come, first serve in terms of program registration. You have the option to participate in our program per week for Intersession. If you are interested in signing up for all three weeks of Intersession please complete a registration for each week.  When you register you will select Fall Intersession as your site/school.

 

 Listed below are when our Fall Intersession programs will run: 

 

  • Fall Intersession Week 1 9/19/22-9/23/22 ($170.00 per week per student-payment due by 9/14/22)

  • Fall Intersession Week 2 9/26/22-9/30/22 ($170.00 per week per student-payment due by 9/21/22)

  • Fall Intersession Week 2 10/3/22-10/7/22 ($135.00 per week per student-payment due by 9/28/22)   **Kids Plus WILL NOT operate on 10/5/22**

 

Fall Intersession will operate from 7:00am-6:00pm. We will be hosting our Kenwood and Barkstall Fall Intersession program at Kenwood Elementary (1001 Stratford Dr. Champaign, IL 61821). 

 

Please Note: If you have not yet paid your past due Kids Plus tuition balance for past/this school year we will not be able to accept your Intersession registration until your account has been settled. If you have questions or concerns please contact our program office. 

 

Registration for Intersession will be online through our MSB activities portal. Registration Instructions are listed below:

2. You will need the student ID number to register your student to your account. If you need your child's ID number, please call your student's school.

3. YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A MySchoolBucks Account and your student is added to your account.
