The Korean Workshop is a program launched in Champaign Unit #4 Schools in 2019 with these primary goals:
- to help our Korean students acquire the Illinois Seal of Biliteracy
- to support Korean as a heritage language for our students
- to develop Korean language and literacy skills
- to create a sense of community amongst our Korean students and their families
- to cultivate a sense of pride and deeper understanding about Korean culture
Some examples of additional activities include:
- preparing Korean foods
- practicing typing on a Korean keyboard
- exploring and making Korean traditional art
