LGBTQ TASK FORCE

Unit 4 understands social justice as a continual commitment to thoughtfully consider and actively challenge societal norms that privilege some and not others.Since 2012, Unit 4 has had a Social Justice Committee that focuses on learning about social justice.

The LGBTQ Task Force is a subcommittee of the Social Justice Committee. The mission of the Task Force is to provide a welcoming and safe environment for our LGBTQ students, families, and Unit 4 staff members. The LGBTQ Task Force is comprised of administrators, teachers, and students. The Task Force meets regularly throughout the year to continue to support the Unit 4 LGBTQ Community and address ongoing issues, concerns, and needs.
