Unit 4 Gifted Testing and Applications

Testing for placement in the Champaign School District gifted classes for the 2016-2017 school year will be administered beginning in late January and ending in early February. Applications are available for students who are first through fourth grade.

Jefferson is All In! Winners of the 2016 United Way Giving Campaign

Jefferson is all in!

Congratulations to Jefferson Middle School! They are the winners of the 100 All-In Building Challenge as part of the Unit 4 United Way Combined Charities Campaign. They raised $4,622 as a building (wow!) and, in recognition of this accomplishment, have earned: 

Pikes to Deliver Gifts Garden Hills

This Thursday, December 10, the University of Illinois Pi Kappa Alpha (Pikes) Fraternity will visit Garden Hills Elementary School to distribute gifts to all children in the school.

The Pikes have supported Garden Hills for 14 years in a row with holiday gifts. This is a substantial annual fundraiser on behalf of the school; Garden Hills receives more than $20,000 in gifts annually from the Pikes, with each student receiving a personal gift. 

Unit 4 Students to Participate in #CSEdWeek & Hour of Code

In celebration of Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13), and as part of the District's ongoing technology and computational thinking efforts, students around the Champaign Unit 4 School District will be participating in the Hour of Code this week.
