More than 500 Unit 4 Seniors Earn National Career Readiness Certificates, 9 Earning Highest Designation

More than 500 Unit 4 seniors have earned the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC™), with nine earning the highest level Platinum certification. 

Partnership with McGraw Hill, Altrusa, and United Way Brings Kindergarten Readiness Materials to Unit 4 Families

​In the midst of the annual kindergarten registration period, Unit 4 is pleased to announce a partnership that will provide top-quality kindergarten readiness materials to its youngest students. 

McGraw-Hill, Altrusa, and Unit 4 are partnering to provide more than 800 kindergarten readiness bags full of books and other resources to incoming families. Bags will be distributed in May prior to students’ first day of school this fall. 

Unit 4 Selects Permanent Barkstall Principal

At its Monday meeting, the Champaign Board of Education unanimously approved Mr. Peter Foertsch as the permanent Principal of Barkstall Elementary School.
