Three Unit 4 Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

Three Unit 4 high school students have been named Semifinalists in the 61st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The District congratulates Summer Choi (Centennial), Cole Prescott (Central), and Phillip Kocheril (Centennial) on this incredible achievement.

Newcomers Program Wins Immigrant Welcome Award!

We are pleased to announce that the Champaign Unit 4 School District Newcomers Program is the winner of a Champaign-Urbana Immigration Forum Immigrant Welcome Award. The Immigration Forum started this award program in 2014 to recognize the contributions of individuals and organizations that have created a welcoming atmosphere for immigrants in the Champaign-Urbana community.

Central High School Early Dismissal - Friday, September 4, 2015

Due to the forecasted heat index, Champaign Central High School will dismiss at 1:05 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, September 4, 2015. Buses will be available directly following this dismissal for regular afternoon routes. Lunch will be provided. All afternoon athletic activities will be held as scheduled.


Centennial AVID Program to Host Yale Fellow

Centennial High School's AVID Program will host a College Info Night for seniors on the University of Illinois campus. Centennial will welcome Gregory D. Wilson, visiting lecturer at the University of Illinois and Yale University fellow, who will be collaborating with AVID seniors this year to get their writing ready for college. 

ALICE procedure for safety drills

This school year the District will continue to implement the ALICE procedure as its response to active shooter safety drills.
