Unit 4 Shows Progress in Annual Illinois Report Card

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) today released the annual Illinois Report Card, which provides a detailed look at each school’s progress on academics, student success, school culture and climate, and financial investments. Carrie Busey Elementary headlined Unit 4’s data with exemplary status, performing in the top 10 percent of all schools across the state and with no underperforming student groups.

Central & Centennial H.S. Musicians selected to participate in state ensembles

Dozens of Centennial and Central High School students are headed to Olivet Nazarene University next month to participate in two music festivals. These students will be playing as part of the Illinois Music Education Conference District 3 Honors Ensemble. The students auditioned for this honor earlier this month. They will be playing in a Jazz Festival on Nov. 2 and a Concert Festival on Nov.

Once again, Champaign Unit 4's Center for Family and Community Engagement will sponsor its annual "Warm-A-Kid" program. The primary goal of this program is to ensure that no student in Champaign Schools is without a coat, hat, or gloves during the winter season.
