We are excited to announce the May 2017 Champaign Unit 4 School District Staff Spotlight winner:

Lynda Jackson, Interventionist/Enrichment at Booker T. Washington

We look forward to honoring her at the Monday, May 8th Board of Education Meeting at 6 p.m. at the Mellon Administrative Center.
Nominator Kevin Frederick had this to say about Lynda:

I have had the honor of working with Mrs. Lynda Jackson for the past five years. She has been a consistent example of kindness, compassion and integrity. She currently serves as an interventionist/enrichment teacher and she also steps in as administrative help when needed. She is a tremendous help to our students and provides dedicated and passionate teaching to our struggling readers. She also has developed amazingly successful community service projects through her enrichment lessons. She is consistently eager to help all of the students, staff and parents in our building and reminds us what it looks like to be a completely selfless helper. She provides our students with respect, compassion and builds relationships that last years. She consistently steps into many different roles in our building to help out and she is does her best in every role. We are very lucky to have Mrs. Lynda Jackson in our building and she deserved to be honored for her commitment to the success of our students and the support of the staff. Thank you, Lynda!
