The best student artists from more than 100 Illinois High Schools will showcase their art and compete for more than $88 million in college scholarships offered at the 8th Annual Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE). The Senior Scholarship Exhibition is one of Illinois' largest and most influential student scholarship exhibitions. This truly unique exhibition serves both as a celebration of students’ artistic achievement and as a means of providing talented young artists with opportunities to succeed in higher education.

Central students Frances Anderson and Anya Shannon will have their artwork displayed at the Senior Show. It is Monday, March 2nd through Saturday, April 4th at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

Several students from Champaign Central High School, including Anderson and Shannon, have already received a total of more than $782 thousand in scholarship offers. Those students are:

  • Frances Anderson
  • Audrey Carswell
  • Steven Cho
  • Toby Gerard
  • Mason Hutton
  • Anya Shannon

The IHSAE receives more than 300 senior portfolio submissions totaling more than 6,000 individual works for scholarship review. Once the review is completed, artwork for our exhibition is selected on the basis of scholarship offer(s). All students awarded at least one scholarship are considered to be a part of this unique exhibition.
