Champaign Schools to Host National African-American Parent Involvement Day Events

On Monday, February 11 each of Champaign Unit 4 School District’s eighteen campuses will celebrate National African-American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID) as part of a month-long observance of Black History Month.

NAAPID invites African-American Parents in Unit 4 to visit their child’s school, meet with teachers, visit classrooms, volunteer in classrooms, and have lunch with their child. Schools will each be putting together special programming for the day. Below is a snapshot of what some of the Unit 4 Schools have planned for the day.
