Centennial High School is proud to announce the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2019. This group exemplified athletics at the highest level during and after their careers at Centennial.

The Board of Education has received lots of feedback following the posting of its most recent offer to the Champaign Federation of Teachers (CFT) as part of ongoing contract negotiations. Although the Board is unable to respond to some of the feedback it receives, it would like to offer this FAQ document to further explain its current proposals and rationale.

The attached document reflects the Champaign Unit 4 Schools Board of Education’s most recent offer to the Champaign Federation of Teachers as part of ongoing negotiations to finalize a successor collective bargaining agreement.

Schools of Choice office has moved to Mellon Building as of November 7

Effective Wednesday, November 7, the Schools of Choice office has moved from 402 N. Randolph Street to its new location at the Mellon Administrative Center, 703 S. New Street, Champaign. 

Hours at the new location will remain 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Contact information will remain (217) 351-3701 and u4fic@u4sd.org.

Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) releases new designations and 2018 Report Card

On October 31, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released designations for every school in the state as part of a new evaluation system. The designations provide a public benchmark of each school’s progress toward the goal of preparing all students for success in college and careers. The state’s new support and accountability system evaluates schools based on a fuller picture of school quality, including the performance of individual student groups and measures beyond test scores.
