Enrollment Information

Listed below are the 2020-21 school year fall enrollment dates. 

Elementary School

If your student is new to the district, you must first register at the Center for Family and Community Engagement, 703 S. New Street, Champaign, Illinois, 61820.

Returning Families Online Registration:

Unit 4 families returning from the previous year will receive an email (by the end of March for balanced calendar schools and by the end of June for regular calendar schools) with online registration information. The email will include a link to the website and a registration code, along with instructions on how to register for the upcoming school year. It is important that your email is listed in our Home Access Center. Please contact your child's building or the Choice Office at (217) 351-3701 if you have questions about adding or adjusting an email. Online registration for balanced calendar schools will be open from April 1-22, 2020. Online registration for regular calendar schools will be open from July 2-29, 2020. 

For families not able to use online registration:

If you are registered at the Center for Family and Community Engagement, you can enroll at your child's school during the spring early enrollment dates or on the fall date:
Balanced Calendar: Kenwood - May 6, 2020 from 2:30-6 p.m.   Barkstall - May 7, 2020 from 4-7 p.m.

Regular Calendar: August 6, 2020 from 12-6 p.m.

Middle School

August 6, 2020 - 8 a.m-12 p.m. & 4-7 p.m. 

High School

New to the district

If your student is new to the district, you must contact your child's high school and set up a time to share academic information from the previous school.  Check our high school boundries map for the school that is assigned to your address.

Demonstrate proof of residency by uploading a copy of two of the following documents
Apartment/house lease or home purchase agreement
Mortgage documents/property deed payment record/building permit (60 days occupancy)
Voter’s registration card
Current driver’s license
Utility bill (within the last 60 days)

You may enroll your student at their respective high school on August 7, 2020 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
