Our Mission

The mission of the Champaign Unit #4 School District, in partnership with the community, is to guide all students in gaining knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to direct their lives, improve a diverse society, and excel in a changing world by providing dynamic, resource-rich learning environments and experiences in which people and lifelong learning are valued.

On February 26, 2018, the Board of Education re-opened the Referendum Oversight Committee membership. If you are interested in joining the committee, you may complete the application and submit by March 30, 2018.

In honor of National African American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID) on February 12, each Unit 4 school is inviting parents to visit their child’s school and take part in some special activities. Below is a summary of what each campus has planned.

Congratulations to Peter Foertsch, who was named the director of Magnet Schools and will oversee the implementation and management of the $9.6 million Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant the district was awarded in September 2017.
