School Year 2026-2027 Registration

The registration window is now open and will close on May 29, 2026. To ensure a smooth start to the upcoming school year, please follow the registration path that applies to your student:

Returning Students

Registration for all returning students is completed online via the ParentVUE portal.

New Students

Registration for families new to the district must be completed in-person. Check the schedule below for upcoming on-site registration events.

Important Documents for Registration

Before beginning the registration process, here are some important documents to gather to better assist you with the completion of your child’s registration.

  1. Child's Certified Birth Certificate (Kindergarten/New families only)

    1. Must be a Certified copy of the birth certificate

    2. Request A Birth Certificate | Champaign County Clerk

    3. Birth Certificate Information - CUPHD (c-uphd.org)

  2. Demonstrate Proof of Residency (Both categories must be satisfied)

    1. Category I (One document required)

      • Most recent property tax bill or Form 1098 (homeowners)

      • Mortgage Papers (homeowners)

      • Signed and dated current lease (renters)

      • Letter of Residence to be used when the person seeking to enroll a student is living with a District Resident (7:60-AP2, E2). Notarized by Unit 4 Windsor

    2. Category II (Two documents showing proper address are required)

      • Driver's license, State ID, or Consulate ID

      • Voter registration card

      • Most recent cable or internet bill

      • Most recent utility bill (gas, water, electric, sewer, or trash)

      • Current homeowners/renters insurance policy and premium payment receipt

      • Current vehicle registration 

      • Current IDHS public notification letter for SNAP or TANF benefits 

  3. Working Email Address

  4. Valid Payment Method for Registration Fees (Card or Check)
