Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy Friday! We have had a lot of fun this week and we have enjoyed our students' participation in our Spirit Week! This past week, Ms. Megginson helped to host a school Clue game that has involved the whole school with daily clues on our announcements which has had our students and teachers solving the mystery. On Monday, we hosted our second grade level night with our families enjoying a game night of Jeopardy, board games and snacks. Thanks to our second grade teachers, Mrs. Norcross, Mr. Acampora and Ms. Pape for hosting this fun event and to our Kenwood PTA for their support. We look forward to continuing this tradition in December with our Kindergarten and 1st grade families (stay tuned for dates and times).
On Tuesday night, we enjoyed a huge turnout of our Kenwood PTA Trunk or Treat despite the rainy weather. It was great to see so many families come together for this fun event. Thanks again to our Kenwood PTA for all your efforts to make this event such a success.
Just a reminder that we have our early dismissal on Monday, Nov. 3rd at 12:50pm. Happy Halloween, Feliz Día de los Muertos and have a great weekend!
