The Illinois Reading Council announced Kevin Frederick as the winner of the 2024 Jerry Johns Reading Educator of the Year Award. This award recognizes an outstanding teacher who makes contributions to promoting literacy among students, colleagues, and school communities. The Illinois Reading Council found Mr. Frederick to be a deserving candidate for this award! The award will be presented to him at the IRC Conference in Springfield this March.
