At last night's Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the appointment of Ms. Caitlin Megginson-Dicken as the Assistant Principal at Kenwood Elementary School.
Ms. Megginson-Dicken began her career in education when she joined Danville High School in Danville, IL in August 2011, and served there for seven years. During this time, she worked as an English Teacher and Literary Coach. In August 2018, she joined Mahomet-Seymour School District 3, as an Instructional Coach. Ms. Megginson-Dicken will leave this position to join Unit 4.
Ms. Megginson-Dicken holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Secondary Education, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (2010), a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, from Olivet-Nazarene University (2016), and a Master of Education from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (2023). She also earned endorsements in Teacher Leadership from Olivet-Nazarene University (2017) and Learning Behavior Specialist I from Greenville University (2023).
