Shalane Kinder, a certified occupational therapy assistant at Unit 4 Schools, was voted as the Parkland College OTA Fieldwork Educator of the Year! She received a certificate during a ceremony at Parkland. Ms. Kinder was nominated by one of her students, Robert Jenkins (who completed his fieldwork placement in Unit 4 Schools), and was subsequently selected by the students participating in Parkland’s Occupational Therapy Program. Congratulations, Ms. Kinder!
