The Unit 4 Schools College and Career Readiness Team is proud to recognize three outstanding students who earned the Illinois State Board of Education College and Career Pathway Endorsement in Human and Public Services. This achievement demonstrates their preparation for careers in education and public service.
The honorees are:
Kaitlyn Helm – Scholar, athlete, and future educator. Kaitlyn will continue her softball career at Parkland College while pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
Jaiden Biggers – Accomplished archer, artist, and student leader. Jaiden is headed to Illinois State University to major in Elementary Education.
Shapree Connley – Scholar and community leader. Shapree will begin her studies at Parkland College in Secondary Education before transferring to the University of Illinois at Chicago.
The College and Career Pathway Endorsement highlights students who have taken college-level coursework, earned dual credit, completed meaningful projects, and gained real-world experience in their chosen field. For these students, it also came with a great opportunity: a guaranteed job interview with Champaign Unit 4 Schools should they pursue a career with the District.
