This fall, more than 23,000 Illinois students completed virtual auditions, with over 7,000 advancing to district festivals in band, orchestra, chorus, and jazz. From those district participants, 2,000 students in grades 7-12 earned the honor of being selected as All-State, including students chosen for performing ensembles, the Future Music Educators Seminar, and the ILMEA Composition Track.
All-State student musicians will perform in a series of concerts at the Peoria Civic Center, including the Junior High All-State Concert and Jazz Night Concert on January 30, 2026, followed by the All-State Elementary Chorus, Senior All-State Concert, and Senior Honors Concert on January 31st. Distinguished conductors will lead each ensemble.
