About 20 Chargers joined elementary students on the playground for games, including basketball and football, as well as plenty of other fun activities. The moment the high schoolers stepped outside, BTW students’ faces lit up, and from there it was non-stop fun. From tying shoes to teaching monkey bars, playing tag, duck-duck-goose, and red light-green light, the Chargers brought incredible energy and kindness.
This was the first of many monthly visits, and we’re excited to see the positive relationships grow between Centennial and BTW students.

The group, made up of teachers, school leaders, and local government administrators, is spending two weeks in the U.S. to explore the American education system.
Their visit included a tour of Dr. Howard guided by Principal Samantha Turner with a University of Illinois translator. We’re excited to share our classrooms and build global connections in education!

Grace, fresh off her Grand Ole Opry debut and recently named Instrumentalist of the Year at the Americana Awards, shared her journey as a professional musician at just 18 years old. Together with our teachers, she inspired students with stories of passion, perseverance, and the joy of making music.
Huge thanks to Grace, Krannert, and our Franklin music team for creating such a memorable experience!

This year, 15 teachers each received $500 to shop for classroom needs, plus supply kits to help kick off the school year. Over the past five years, this partnership has provided more than $40,000 in support to Franklin classrooms!
We’re grateful for Serra Subaru’s continued commitment to our students, staff, and schools.
