Over 100 Central and Centennial students have been interviewing with local employers to participate in our YES (Youth Employment Services) program. YES provides curriculum around essential job skills such as communication, time management, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. These interviews will help lead to employment for these students over the summer.
The IHSA Board of Directors, the Do What's Right! Advisory Committee, and the ISA Staff have awarded the Champaign Central Dance Team a Do What's Right! State Final Sportsmanship Banner at the 2025 Competitive Dance State Finals.
During interscholastic contests, they earned this prestigious award for their commitment to good sportsmanship. Central has set a high standard for other schools to follow during regular and post-season participation.

IPA hosted its first-ever career fair, Panteras Empoderadas: Charlas de Carrera / Career Talks! Over 25 parent presenters inspired 4th–8th graders with stories from a wide range of careers. With 85+ attendees, the event wrapped up with pizza, treats, and excitement for next year!
Operation Hope participated in Parkland College's 2025 Spring Open House. Our students toured the campus as well as visited representatives from the following departments: Natural Sciences, Health Professions, Arts Media and Social Sciences, Humanities, Business and Computer Science, Agriculture, Math, Applied Sciences and Technologies,and Aviation.
