It's School Bus Safety Week! As a thank you to all our bus drivers that safely transport our students to school every day, our Transportation Department treated them all to lunch today. Let's take a brief moment and thank all of our bus drivers and transportation staff for everything they do to help educate our students.

Sponsored by the Youth Literature Festival at UIUC, Unit 4 Schools hosted nearly 40 authors today to share their work and experiences with our students. Thank you to all the authors for donating their time and giving new words and perspectives on what it means to be an author.
This morning, Kenwood students were visited by author G. Neri. He shared with students his adventures, including his expedition to Antarctica which inspired his book, My Antarctica.
